Metal Shingles

What Are Metal Shingles...

Metal Shingles are a 3D stamped metal roofing panel designed to look like different roofing types. Wooden Shakes, Slate, and Tile, are among the most common design profiles.

Easily INstalled

Asphalt roofs are quickly and easily installed requiring fewer specialized tools. This can make them a more cost effective option.

Durable

Top grade Metal Shingles come with warranties of up to 50 years.

Variety

Metal Shingles come in a wide array of colors, textures, and profiles that look like older traditional roofing systems.

South Carolina weather tests a roof for any weak points with Rain and potential high winds. Summer heat and sun add to the assault on your roof. No one wants a leak but they do happen sometimes. Leaks damage both the structure and the interior of a house introducing mold and rot costing hundreds if not thousands in restoration repairs. If you do have a leak, consider enlisting the help of a professional. We can tell you what the best option for you is and present customized solutions.

Whats Great About Them

Metal Shingles

Why should I Install Them...
01

Life Span

Metal Shingles have a long life span thanks to advances in coatings and the paint, coatings, and rock granules that many are topped with. Warranties are commonly 50 years, and a properly installed metal shingle roof should last well past its warranty. Metal Shingles that are only painted will shed snow easier, reducing stress on the roof and building as a whole. This prevents premature roof sag and lessens the risk of snow load overload. Each shingle interlocks with the shingles on all sides, making it nearly impervious to wind lift.

02

Looks

From the southern look of red tile to the classic look of cedar shakes and slate, metal shingles does it all. There is no other roofing system with as much versatility in profile and texture as a metal shingle. Cedar shake profiles are painted to look convincingly realistic with a 3D stamped profile with a true to like silhouette of a real Cedar Shake. Slate and tile are available, with slate being produced in painted style and slate in a painted and stone coated option.

“Joel and Herman of Ticos Roofing were upfront and honest. How refreshing. Had them put a new steel roof on my pole barn. The crew was friendly and answered all The questions we had. We did a final inspection after the job was complete. I actually had a small shed that I wanted a new roof on and asked if they could fit it in. No pressure. They got it done before the time frame on the whole project. And both roofs look good. Thanks, Joel and Herman!”

“Ticos keet me informed in all aspects of the process. Very professional work, answered all questions and concerns that we had. Friendly. A small company, quality of work and attention to the detail I would say better than a larger outfit. Overall we are very happy with the work done.”

Neighbors complementing me on how nice my roof looks. One stated they were meticulous in their work. They are a small company so it is not done in a day, but it gets done and looks nice.
